Thanks to the Kansas Humanities Council, we have been able to receive funding toward a research this summer titled: From Xieng Khuang Province to Kansas City: Oral History Video on the Hmong Experience in Laos Before the Vietnam War, the War's Impact in Their Lives and Starting Over in Kansas City. We are excited about this endeavor and hope that it will be an integral part of the mission of Hmong Village to help, share and preserve the Hmong people and culture.
